With Transformers the exclusives were either early bird releases or slight color variations (sometimes a mixture of both), the original iterations of the character always ended up at retail. But they kinda stopped doing those.

Same with Star Wars. The exclusives are usually just brand-new figures with a dozen (mostly irrelevant) accessories and / or special packaging. But said figures just end up at retail later anyways, but in standard packaging with fewer (relevant) accessories. This year they have Episode I figures on special, retro card backs, but the figures themselves will be released in standard Black-series boxes later.

I would expect the same here, Zeo Gold will probably be released single packaged at retail, maybe with just one variant of the staff, but still.
