Aqua ended up being very important for me when I watched this movie the second time round. A big part of the reason I love OOO is that Eiji and his fundamental morals resonate with me so much; and to see him inspire someone from 40 years in the future, keeping those ideals going without being condescending and just being a genuinely nice guy? It's great. Similarly I loved when he inspires Cross-Z in HGF but this scene is like, the core of Aqua's entire character and development; so I just can't help but love him. UGH this movie is so GOOD
