It gets even better than that. TV-Nihon was the only place I knew to go to for subs at first, and at that point they only had those first four episodes of Kuuga subbed (and no Agito whatsoever, which is literally the entire reason I watched Ryuki right away), so for a while that might as well have been Kuuga's finale to me.

I mean, that's the one where he actually becomes a Kamen Rider, right? What more do you need? It honestly does feel like a climax. And once he gets on that bike, he just refuses to get off. It blew my mind seeing him take that thing up a staircase.

Plus, the thumbs up Kuuga gives at the end is apparently the most iconic one in the whole show, given how often I see screencaps of it.

When the first episode is literally titled "Revival"? I doubt that double meaning was unintentional. That's another thing I love about Kuuga. You could tell it was being made with a lot of pride.
