I'm against an official dub because american dubbing of japanese stuff tend to be awful, ( I'm looking at most anime like Dragon Ball, the ghibli movies and so on)

Also, we are past the "adapting this thing to an US audience because they wouldn't like the original idea", this is also an idea that must stop.

The only thing I would like to see, is an official sub. ( Mind you, I'm like this for american stuff aswell, they are poorly dubbed in French so I watch it in OG version with english sub...)

Dragon Knight is pretty ok. It's flawed as hell but people have grown on it recently, especially after some people on the show encouraged pirating it when fans got bluray quality rips online a while ago because of the popular Japanese dub

You mentioned that it would get panned by the west for not having a female lead when I can assure you Japan's been vocal about that stuff too to the point that Toei and Bandai decided to try Valkyrie.

Can we stop this 2002 mentality of 'dubs bad'? As anime got significantly more mainstream, the effort into dubs increased, giving us loads of great performances throughout the years with one of Shonen Jump's biggest hits of late, My Hero Academia, having it's lead dub VA be more praised than the Japanese one
