Normally I'd vouch for physical suits for the ranger costumes, but since this is Hollywood and they love CGI. Instead I'll say "a different design theme for the CGI".

One of the criticisms I remember hearing about PR:2017 was the CGI stuff looked like abominations, which is... kinda fair. I mean, did we really need a Mastodon zord with 8 legs?

In my opinion, Hollywood is fully capable of making CGI look good, it just depends on the design choices.


Hopefully they pick one that doesn't make Alpha to look like a stretched out toddler with an beer gut this time around.
