Another I noticed is that the comedic characters in those shows are always treated as secondary characters whereas in Ben and Betty's case (and Victor and Monty) they would always steal the focus away just to focus on their antics. Remember when people said Bulk and Skull are the real main characters of MMPR? This is what it is.
