I concur. Yua did this to the sushi chef Humagear in episode 3. He wasn't given any order to report to her. What she probably did was simply opening another data port and copying and transmitting his visual feed to her (and very likely Gai as well) without him knowing. That's how Gai got info about Aruto's Progrise keys.

Now it makes sense why Raiden survived the Daybreak, while other Humagears (barring Horobi and other mastermind(s)) were destroyed. He was intentionally left there by MJnet so that he could infiltrate Hiden later. I don't know why Hiden chose to continue employing him after the Daybreak. If I were the CEO of Hiden, I'd have destroyed all the remaining Humagears. All of them were compromised, except Aruto's dad and Wazu. It was a bad decision.
