I don't know why, but I am very hopeful for this Sentai!

I've been in something of a funk for awhile; a combination of circumstances!

Given what I've seen, I'm hoping for something interesting. I don't mean to rag on RyuSoulger, but it just isn't reigniting the spark. The way this is being made-up, it's almost like a "Steven Universe Meets Super Sentai" kinda Sentai!

The aspect of Jewels in a Sentai was first broached with Goggle V while Flashman had Prisms and Crystals. Turboranger was the first real Sentai where near-realistic looking cars were a thing, with Carranger and GoGo V carrying it forward. A "Light VS. Darkness" theme was last tackled with ToQger, and most Sentai since Kyoryuger have been trying to capitalize on Kyoryuger's success!

There was a lot of speculation as to how this Sentai would look and feel, and yet the reality feels removed from theory. I see this as something Power Rangers and Hasbro will be focusing on heavily, perhaps more so than normal.
