Somehow this show feels like a love letter to the 80s, 90s, and 2000s aesthetically. The villain with its human mouth exposed is fresh out of the 1980s. The suits and mecha feel more 2000s, and the civilian outfits are straight 1990s. It’s a clash of styles but I really enjoy what they have done here.

Kiramaizin is as beautiful as I thought it would be. The light coming through the crystal parts is stunning. Wouldn’t surprise me if a P-Bandai version with lights was made available. I do have some complaints though. Not a fan of Kiramaizin proper being the RYG combo. All five should be the base combo, but thankfully it looks like all 5 are meant to combine unlike Ryusoulger.

The other complaint is that blue is only a sword in the 5 piece combo. It’s kind of a bummer, but they do look good altogether. I can’t wait to see the toy version.
