I don't mean this as an attack on anyone, but I think maybe some of y'all are getting so focused on the "it's just repeating the same story!" narrative that it's making you overlook the actual changes that are happening. Specifically, Aruto finally putting together the pieces that Humagears are going berserk in response to human malice. That's a huge development! Not exactly equal to when he first learned of metsubojinrai.net's existence, but comprable.

And yes, it's one that many of us saw coming, but that's because we have the advantage of watching this as fiction. We can tell when something is supposed to be foreshadowing because the show draws our attention to it. With all the other things Aruto has to deal with, it's reasonable that it would have to happen three times before he got the pattern.
