I strongly doubt Hasbro(or who ever owns this stuff by then) will want to have him back on the show. He's not Matthew Broderick who was an in demand actor who served no prison time. Press wise it came off looking like an accident........and then he want on to do movies like Glory. Then remember this was before the internet really took off.

But original question, his sentence was three years and he's on his way to serving half of it.

Also note that since he's not an in demand actor, Medina is basically a nobody. The media only picked up on the story because "oh my god it's Power Rangers. We've said it caused violence since 1993. Look! LOOK!!!" The media loves a scandal. But once he has served his sentence and if he does return to the franchise the media will go "who?" It would be a non-story. Hell if he does return Hasbro will likely just have him do voice overs and then probably have him show up in person when it's been so long the media stopped caring.

Perception of it being accidental or not, this is Disney we're talking about. The fact they were willing to work with Broaderick is astounding. If it had been similar to what happened with Medina then yeah they probably would have black listed him. Disney does not like to get their hands dirty. Hasbro is not Disney so they might be willing to work with Medina.
