I have no great desire to add anything to this discussion, but even I noted how people didn't specify which season or which Red Ranger Medina played! They over-simplified the case from the word go.

One could say that most wouldn't know one season from another, and those who said anything were just being pragmatic for the sake of their audience.

However, I think that's too short-sighted! If you report on a particular brand or franchise, one should include specifics.

Something that comes to mind is the release of Transformers Headmasters by SHOUT! and reading an article on CNN when that news was fresh and interesting for the franchise! Headmasters got more love than Wild Force!
