Thankfully yes, apparently other people saw this too and I wasn't imagining things. But this means… it’s real, and people made it thinking it would be good.

That one needs a remaster like yesterday. Not because the original game is ugly, but because it needs to be released digitally for every current console and PC.

Dragon Quest VIII is my favorite and getting out my PS2-copy I bought when the game was first released works, but man would it be better if I could have this on PS4, PC - and everyone else could get it wherever they want.

This goes for the entire Dragon Quest games actually. They’re available on mobile of all things, why not at least port those to PC?
