The more I see of Juuru, the more I like him. He strikes a good balance between the happy-go-lucky Red Ranger and the serious Red Ranger. He's happy, optimistic, but he knows when he needs to take things seriously and not stupid to joke around in inappropriate times.
Questioning his leadership was also a nice addition considering it's this early in the series and hopefully we'd see him grow his leadership skills with each episode. I also liked that he didn't force Sena to leave her race and make her Ranger duty her first priority. He didn't go for "Lives before self interests" speech and he let her make her own choice in what she wants to do. He's not super talented that everything is easy for him, but he's also not dumb enough to not have common sense and he doesn't take everything too seriously. Seems like a well-balanced Red Ranger for the series.
Sena's plot was handled extremely well. I expected some conflict to happen with the copy losing the race because it didn't perform as good as the real one and we'd see Sena coming to the team angry for ruining her dream and quitting only to come back at the end because saving lives matters more, but so glad that didn't happen and they went with a clever twist.
I will say I don't like the civilian clothes they went with. These kinds of outfits fits the more mystical/familiar teams who comes from non-Earth backgrounds. The rangers in this series are all ordinary Earth folks and they all should have their regular casual clothes instead of what they went with.
