Necrom is the king of redemption arcs. Just hands down; he was easily the best part of Ghost when it was happening and it still sticks out in my memory.

The thing is, much as I love Rider; I don't think it actually does redemption arcs all that well. Kuroto never felt right, Para-DX just felt downright cruel to the guy, Rogue is bizarrely easy (The Gas Wore Off And I'm Nice Now), and the less said about Leangle's far too long the journey the better.

Necrom though? He actually started learning to break out of his preconceived notions; he had a lot of tragedy surrounding him; and goddamn did he try to become better. His struggle with who he was before and who he should become was just a joy to watch
