Yea, that's definitely a part of the reason why I haven't nearly enjoyed Zero-One as much as I had at the beginning lately. Characters are just not reacting in the ways they really should've been. But yea, Gai himself isn't the only issue in my opinion, but that others are suffering and making illogical decisions for "plot".
