Oh man, I can relate hard to that. Season 2 had a super compelling narrative that was a lot more daring and clever than the first season (which was already both of those things to begin with), and I find myself thinking back on it a lot more as a result, but my most vivid memories of actually watching it are just laughing at how over-the-top the drawn-out Amazon murder scenes got. Season 2 is literally the one where a guy drinks brains through a straw. I'm just not sure what to do with the tone that creates?

Amazons in general is a weird beast. I definitely wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to bail out after an episode or two. For both seasons, it wasn't until the back halves, when I could see the story coming together, where I really got into them.
