Ankh's writing change is something I'm actually glad happened because I feel it worked out for the better and just ultimately works with the themes of the show way more than if he had just become the main villain. It honestly rounded out OOO into the perfect show for me!


I've said it before and I'll continue to say it every time; Zi-O was a complete and utter mess, and that's what's worst about it and what's best about it. Would it have made more sense for Woz to end up the villain? Yeah, and just a few seconds thinking about it you can easily imagine how the story would go in that direction. But a bit like OOO, I really like the idea of someone like Sougo having his influence rub off on an antagonistic force and turn them around for the better. I wouldn't have Zi-O's little squad any other way; they're definitely one of my favourites out of the Heisei Rider shows!
