The song here, Dead or alive, is a favorite of mine. This won't be something you can really comment on for obvious reasons, but the lyrics do this super impressive thing where they're really motivational and empowering... but from a distinctly nihilistic perspective. It'd be a perfect theme song for Faiz, if its actual theme song wasn't already perfect.

I can see why these shows got away from regular insert themes for fights and the like. Even the best ones, it sort-of locks the fights into a specific (literal) rhythm, and that's going to build complacency in your audience. The very last feeling a fight and/or fight song should engender is "complacent". Coming up with different music to more directly fit each fight, I think it's a better way to go. You might miss some awesome implementations, but nothing can wear out its welcome.
