Those scenes with Ankh in the last stretch are a real treat. Putting him back fully with the bad guys just long enough for him to realize how he can't stand living a life that shallow anymore was the perfect way to underscore the development he had. You can see everything going on in his head even with him not spelling that much of it out. There's just a constant look on his face like "god, did I used to sound like this?" the whole time building up to Hina accidentally making him realize he's maybe already got what he's looking for when she expresses concern at the thought of him dying.

Man, OOO is so good.
