The only way they can make this up to fans is one of two ways:
1. Make Zero-Two the new base form and make it compatible with the other Progrizekeys in order to possibly do a Zero-Two Metal Cluster Hopper.

2. Do a complete change in the design even if we gotta wait for a little while like they did with the resdesign of Sonic The Hedgehog.

"Make it up to the fans"? Like... speak for yourself, mate. From what I've seen people have been pretty split on it; with most people liking it.
