As for Kimura's performance, I think I would bring up what I said for Yuka previously (fixing it too with my second explanation due to it not being so clear):
I don't know if acting must be all about goofy, or over-the-top, or larger than life, or laugh out loud, or in your face and wide-angle lenses, or other kinds of that. People usually consider any actor who doesn't act like that, (or just those who doesn't portray types of characters they like), basically acting as a "normal" person, as bad acting or no personality, but it can be just the people mindset that they just throw "bad acting" or "no personality" to those they think “this person doesn’t stimulate me”, or “this person doesn’t interest me”. Also a term to say someone is not extroverted, that because they can’t figure their personality, it doesn’t exist. A rather lazy and egocentric view of other people tbh, and a very superficial judgement. And that there's no such thing as " no personality". The person refered as such may be a little hidden if they are very shy, but they have a personality.
Probably for Saya, her having no spark, is in the character, that she's meant to be a shrinking violet-type of person that is meek, shy, quiet, anxious, insecure, apologizing a lot, etc. The character type like that is obviously, doesn't stand out (because that's what they want, not wanting to stand out among the crowds).

Yeah, as I said before, Kitazaki is Faiz' Asakura. Don't think about why he specifically targets someone name he doesn't know yet. He has the same feeling as him when he's "vexed" as Fish pointed out, he attacks and kills indiscriminately! He kills to have fun, and anything's fair game to him. Which also speaks about how horrible of a being he is, he's the most evil being in Faiz, just like Asakura in Ryuki, and it actually speaks more about it when he murders indiscriminately, instead of picking certain targets he specifically has animosity of. It's just that in this episode, he coincidentally happens to fight someone a part of main cast.

no longer in the dark
.
Takumi was at first, only trying to take Kusaka's (prejudiced) stance, with killing all Orphnochs indiscriminately. But finally, he does bring up the topic, to Yuji, which, being a humane Orphnoch himself, he's not shy to point out that Orphnochs isn't inherently evil. Yuji was still nonchalant of his seemingly normal longtime friend suddenly bringing up a "bizzare" topic, moreover with him threatening all Orphnochs, which Yuji also is. For Takumi and Keitaro, this is a fun sthick they're going with (I forgot to write this in every of the character vs irl people moment comparison), but there's definitely numerous people in real life that would do something like that, labelling either people or characters being emotional about anything (except anger) like Keitaro's grief here as whiny, wimpy, spineless, etc and just overall sign of weakness, and I don't like that stance not even a bit. For Yuka, Fish covered the mistranslation, though I still wonder what takes her so long to raise her hand.

I've always wanted for them to learn the secret identities though, even more with Takumi bringing up Orphnochs to him. Even when they fight, like when one of them wins, the loser will revert back to their human form and revealed, I guess their previous fight didn't last long enough simply to send them to that state. But I guess this one still qualifies, and better with Delta showing up that way from Jet Slinger.

Didn’t really get to talk about it, but
goddamn
do I love the story this show is telling with Houjou. He’s shed the skin of a tactical genius and emerged,
gloriously
, as a snivelling coward, terrified of Lucky Clover’s resident bully. He’s full Houjou, and it’s my
lifeblood
. That scene with him hiding on the roof, being consoled maternally by Kageyama! Beautifully shot and so wonderfully weird!
I love him as a helpless baby!
Delta is so strong that he gives most memorable cliffhanger even in the background! He chooses to keep anyone alive to balance everything! For Takuma yeah as I said, this is polarizing, there are people who accept this stance, there's also people who only wants to see the ruthless unstoppable adversary and not liking him being
reduced
to that.

So overall you meant that she doesn't react as deeply (she blatantly does react in sorrow) from previous times like when witnessing the deaths in present day?

- This is something your brain probably made right because it's so glaring, but "Even when [Sawada] changed into an Orphenoch, he didn't act any different towards his Ryuusei School friends" is more like "Even though Sawada's become an Orphenoch, it doesn't change that he's one of our Ryuusei School friends" or whatever. I mean, I could take the time to come up with something less clunky than "Ryuusei School friends", too, but you get the idea. Sawada
acted
VERY differently towards his friends! This is a really big, obvious mistake caused by what I'm noticing is a trend with TV-Nihon even to this day sometimes, which is not paying enough attention to grammar. I think they heard "became an Orphenoch", "Ryuusei School", and "no change" and were just like "I GOT THIS!"without thinking about it very hard.
- Takumi's response to Mari saying Saya would've wanted to help Sawada right after this also really shouldn't be "I knew that already." It's literally more of a blunt "Why should I care?", which is equally standoffish, but what's important here is that Takumi genuinely hadn't been considering that idea.
- And speaking of small lines from Takumi, when Yuka starts raising her hand to at that meeting to vote in favor of Orphenochs being able to have human hearts, the thing he whispers to her is along the lines of "I mean, of course
you
think that, but...", which is basically the complete opposite of the surprised "Even you think so?" TV-N has it as. I don't think theirs really gets across how much of a stubborn jerk Takkun is actually being right now. He doesn't process grief very well!
I now can finally participate in the translation blunders, because I did, was genuinely confused af for the dialogues you mentioned. Sawada blatantly changes, and I didn't know even a single bit why she said he didn't
act
any different, but the actual translation is actually this. And for Takumi and Yuka to be confused of asking human hearted Orphnoch based on the translated diaogue...wtf man?
Both
of them have witnessed by themselves about that type of Orphnoch, and especially Yuka herself who acts like that, and why Takumi would be confused of the same type of Orphnoch, raising her hand?! So this is actually how it is.
