I think one out of the many examples of the writing being good so far is demonstrated with Jyuru. Cause majority of people after seeing him go HIRAMEKIIIIINNNN probably thought 'Not another energy drink fueled doofus hypeman' in the trailers, etc. But thankfully that was not the case as later episodes after episode 1 showed him being calm or genuinely serious when needed, and it's impressive considering he is a high school kid leading four(now five) grown-ups into battle.
