As to why they don't bring in LA voice actors for the current series? Cost-saving. No, they wouldn't have to fly the VAs out to New Zealand to record, but they would need to either sub-contract out a studio in LA or record via telephone, both of which would cost more money than the execs are willing to spend.

Exactly. Pretty much my biggest complaint of moving to New Zealand. I don't mind if they want to stay, but I would love it if they start sub-contract a studio in US.

Sure the cost would increase, but Hasbro please do it, prove that you're better than Saban and Disney.
