I should've phrased my question a little better. I was wondering if any of you, with your devotion to action figures and Japanese superheroes, find yourselves as the assumed authority on all things childish and pop-culture for your friends and family.

Well, the concept of other countries mattering or needing to be considered... I don't know if that's an idea that gets a lot of traction in American schools. It's not totally his fault!
