Also had the introduction of what I assume is the Rhinocousrs Beetle Grongi, who I gather is an important character from what they said about him in the Shodo blog. Speaking of important characters, never would have expected the motw of the second episode of a show to survive all the way till episode 39, and gain a final form so powerful he would've likely killed Godai and Ichijou had it been his goal, taken out instead by the final boss
