I watched episodes 3 and 4!

I said earlier that in Three Kingdoms inspired works, Zheng Fei and characters associated with him tend to be my favorite, and that still kinda rang true here.

The Mi Zhu brothers were absolutely hilarious with their antics, and I liked the arc of Mi Zhu starting off doing things that, while certainly annoying, were ultimately petty, only for the power to go to his head and start doing worse things.

I also like the gimmick of our hero being able to gain further power sets as battles continue to be won. That said, given the overall story of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I imagine he'll only get one, possibly two more, though I won't say who to avoid possible spoilers.

Lastly, the cat warrior on the roof at the end of episode 4 had me rolling with just how totally random it was! And I think that's the thing I'm appreciating the most about this show so far: That it's not afraid to have fun with itself while still making an actual story. It's kinda like if Kamen Rider Ryuki were a season of Power Rangers, and I'm all for that!
