The only time I've ever felt like it might tear is on KickHopper, but that's been the only time. And that's probably just my copy because PunchHopper is fine. The main issue with these are the shoulder pads can warp after use and not go all the way back down (The original Kabuto is really bad for this). This has gotten better over the years as they've figured out the right softness.
