I'm actually very disappointed in my write-up for Episode 8 as I absolutely agree -- there's something so incredibly Eiji in his entire conversation with Takeshi, and it's a feeling that was very hard to capture and I was trying to put into words but just kinda flopped. This is one of the reasons I was iffy on the idea of doing a thread, because I just don't think I'm that good at this thing even if I'm trying my best. Either way, yeah, it's just so Kamen Rider that the scene Eiji's talking to someone in just his underwear about photography is as important as the scenes where he's talking about his trauma!
