Agreed I expect if the past mecha theme is true then they wil lbe INSPIRED by past mecha, unfortunately I can't help but think of Shurikenjin with its very mismatched elements. I know not matching was the theme, covering various aspects of japan but I still cant help but think of something like that.

As for the double esque half and half theme thats interesting if that makes its way into the mecha i could see maybe that be for the aux mecha and be a way to fit in a lot of the other seasons themes without needing AS MANY mecha. Like doing some half and half thing based on 2 similar seasons.
