Also, your use of JAKQ makes no sense. JAKQ was themed after playing cards, from the name referencing the jack playing card and each ranger suit referencing a different playing card suit. It made its playing card theme obvious. But as of yet, nothing of what we've hears about Zenkaiger gives the impression of a chess theme.

Ryusoulgers mooks and monsters had very pevalent chess themes though.

Sigh, its just a fun prediction. You said the chess pieces doesnt give the impression for zenkaiger as of yet, i could also said the same thing with youkais, animals, dinosaurs and others (except for vehicles and maybe bugs because insects are known to construct nests hence construction=machine). Also legit leaks are miniscule to say at least so far, so almost anything could be a "theme" for zenkaiger.

I chose chess pieces because of how jakq works and its formation. Also toei havent done chess pieces as one of its main theme so far. My prediction with zenkaiger got nothing to do with jakq themes. I believed its the only sentai so far to have a core of four members + big one. I dont consider big one as a core member. He's more like a "sixth" like starninger or zyuoh the world. This lead me to speculate what if zenkaiger have been following the same pattern as jakq like what kiramager did with gorenger. Kiramager colour scheme and rank is the same as the gorenger.

Chess pieces could work because they could use the past sentai robos or mechas act like a chess pieces during their fight against villains, big or small. Say for an example a blue knight zenkaiger have a set of boukenger mechas at his disposal using the zenkai gears and what have you. He could use it to formed daibouken or mix and match with other vehicular theme sentais like turboranger or kiramager...each chess pieces represent major themes of the super sentais like dinosaur based ss or magical based ss and so on

Red - king (daizyujin) - all dinosaurs and prehistoric animals based super sentai
Pink - queen (magiking) - all magical/mythological based ss

White - bishop (mach) - zenkaiger very own mechas and other mechas that doesnt fit with the other 4 categories

Blue - knight (daibouken) - all vehicular based ss
Green - rook (gaoking) - all existing animal beast based ss

Notice it has the same colour schemes as jakq...

So what if this turn out to be wrong? Its just a prediction ^_^
