I feel like one scene change that would have helped was Babarue and Nackle going to attack Ken when his back was turned only for Belial to come in and save him, calling Ken naive.

That being said I kinda like that Belial was sort of an arse mostly and that Ken was really just looking at their relationship through rose-tinted glasses.

Mostly because this basically means that yes, that one little stage showing of Belial beating Ken with a steel chair while training, is totally in character.
