And to get back on topic for Zenkaiger, I'm curious as to what the villains would be like. Considering it's the 45th anniversary of Sentai, maybe the MOTWs could be based on previous teams (to tag off the Another Rider concept)?

I was wondering the same... though while I cant think of a good name I wouldn't be surprised if a theoretical adapt somehow was tied in with beast morphers. I only say this because its hard PR wise not to think of the beast bots especially Steel when we think about robot rangers. Yes i know there were the robot rangers from turbo, and sentai has Raptor at the very least. But the fact that Grid Battle Force has a vault full of ranger tech- could be a perfect way to explain the past team elements... the various robot rangers were cobbled together using ranger tech from the vault. I would of loved if we could get some sort of explanation behind the founding of Grid Battleforce. Clearly it seems to be some sort of government rand RnD lab that has access to ranger tech... possibly inspired by Promethea from Boom Comics? Just who would have the pull to convince various teams to send their gear to some secret research lab?

But i'm certainly gonna be curious to see what the villains look like this time around. I mean of the current options I honestly don't see any stand out choices for an adapt after Dino Fury.

ToQger-might confuse kids if they tune in late and suddenly theres a female red and male pink when the previous ep the team had Male red and female pink. I Mean ToQ adapt COULD ditch the color changing since honestly that gimmick did nothing- oh it let them use each others weapons... haven't we seen rangers pass off their weapons to others before? Not to mention the foot soldiers might be problematic.

Zyuohger had nice designs but the mecha were a bit of a let down over all.

Kyuranger- i know PR isn't known for character development but Megaforce got criticized for gosei just passing out mecha stuff like participation ribbons.

LupPat- sure theres the bit bout trying to shape the footage just right so as to not glorify thieves- this is presumably a reason that Korea skipped it in favor of Ryusoulger as well. But I think Hasbro could manage that part the harder part would be explaining why they share a mecha...I guess The Lupin team could of stolen the blueprints and they trade off because it needs to recharge or something.

Kiramager- The suits are fine but the monsters are soo retro it works for sentai I just don't know if it would work as well for PR. And then theres the merchandise side... a toyline that doesn't care if you collect them all? Megazords that don't even have limb swapping features? We can stick the shovel on the drill's shoulder... or make the main megazord hold the shark zord as a cannon... if they don't combine into something bigger, if there's no incentive to buy them all then you probably wont and since hasbro is a toy company that probably isn't a good series to pick.

So yeah we'll just have to wait to see the monsters who know it might make for a decnet PR 2023.
