I feel like this didn't have to be this way. The worm that was there was subsumed by t Tsuragi's personality, he might share a body with the worm, but they don't share a personality. This is a thing I feel like Kabuto has lowkey been dealing with, but not fully addressed is, we kind of our are memories and worms having the memories shift who they are. I don't think this is a major theme in the show, but also I haven't been watching.
