Also, while some may not like how cartoon-y the monsters seem, I think it's honestly fine for me since at least they're not trying to hide it. It's not something like Pacific Rim or Godzilla: KoM where they hide the CGI monster in some filters and shadows to look 'realistic'.

The only one off-putting here I feel is Ultraman whom is CGI. I preferred if he was a suit, but I guess they wouldn't do that to distinguish him from regular Ultraman.

Ultraman getting a Shin movie, made me think what other kinda movies Anno is willing to do. I know he's also interested in a Shin Evangelion movie, but I wonder if he started to delve into maybe a Shin Super Sentai or, hell, bring back Shin Kamen Rider?
