Like out of all the standard Phase 2 monsters they do make the most sense to just go that hard. I mean after all, I doubt all those missing posters at the end of Gaim were cause people ate the fruit, pretty sure those were some Inves kills in there. It's just now we get to see em do it.

The Inves in Gaim only ate Helheim Fruit, not people. Of course I can't deny that it's entirely plausible that the Inves killed some people but it wouldn't be through eating them.
