Kakuranger and Zyuranger did get the same treatment, though. They both had US versions that were packaged more closely to gunpla than to candy toys. Barnes and Noble still has Kakuranger kits in stock. (They also had Megaranger kits, but those looked more like typical minipla packaging so I don't know if it was the Japanese version imported or not)

But anyways, I don't think we'll actually find the answers through speculation. I just sincerely hope we get some Dairanger minipla some day... That, and Ohranger. Those two seasons have my favorite mech designs.
