I've watched through episode 12 now. I think I am settling into the groove with this show. It is pretty fun, but also not particularly grabbing me. It definitely feels like a back to basics approach compared to the last few shows before it. Just some random thoughts:

I think the choreography is probably some of the better stuff I have seen in Sentai, I think a lot of Sentai shows have messy and somewhat mindless battles.
Have I mentioned that Yartots might be the single greatest grunt monster design I have seen? They are so campy and awful and I just LOVE them.
I'm kind of leaning towards Hayate as my favorite now, he's a swell guy.
The villains in this one are pretty great, I love all their weird ideas to wake up their sentient space ship. I hope they progess well into a real threat later.
