As wave 1 of the Megaforce flood hits the toy aisles, what is left of Samurai stock will be clearanced off or shipped to department stores like TJ Maxx, Ross's, or Marshalls. If you come across the harder to find auxiliary Light Zord and miniature Claw Zord from wave 3 of the Samurai line, should you buy them? Tokunation presents a dual gallery of these scaled-down releases to help you decide whether or not they are worth a purchase.

The Light Zord differs greatly from the BoJ release, being much smaller, lacking the disc shooting feature, and an inability to combine with the turtle, ape, dragon, and bear foldingzords. The lantern alternate mode of the Light Zord was kept but an additional 'spider' mode was added, for no apparent reason.

The Claw Zord is much smaller than either the BoA or BoJ deluxe version. It lacks any ability to transform into the Claw Battlezord, instead having a 'pinching claw' gimmick and the ability to separate into an arm and helmet for the Samurai Megazord.

While these figures are more affordable than their larger counterparts, are they really worth the price? Only you can decide.
