It's weird, though, because Yuuto is almost strenuously not working into/with the cast for this story. He's trying very very hard to not interact with these weirdos that he definitely doesn't like and definitely doesn't want to have adventures with and he definitely doesn't have his heart break a little bit when Ryotaro tells him he'll never forgive him if he burns Hana on their deal. He's not here to make friends!

My favorite scene of the episode, though, was the aftermath of Momotaros hurling the random thug, where Ryotaro is trying to transform without falling over. I just love how Yuuto is standing there, realizing that this madness is what he has to work with.

The physical comedy of that gag, where Ura tries (and fails!) to get the time ticket into Ryotaro's hands, is incredibly on-point. Like most of the great gags in this story, its power is in how long they play that joke. It feels like it's never going to end, and that's part of why it works.

Let's see, other points... I liked the last bit before the credits where Ryotaro stands up to Yuuto over the promise to Hana. I've said before that I really respect Ryotaro's willpower and this was an excellent example of it. And we got to see Naomi outside of the Denliner. That's pretty rare and it's fun to see her get more involved in the story.

The best part to me of Naomi's appearance is that she doesn't change her costume? Every time Hana leaves the DenLiner, she gets into Casual Hana clothes. But when Naomi leaves, she's just like Vinyl Waitress With A Dozen Watches. Because who cares!

Though I will point out that unlike DenLiner, ZeroLiner’s two modes don’t have names. They’re simply called Drill Mode and Naginata Mode.

They also turn into a helicopter that chops up monsters, which is hilarious.
