Still subjective about the statement where the choice not making it excellent. I'm just also pointing out about how people talk about realistic, but ironically strays far from it. Also there's probably a story where people would like if there are equal focus on many of the cast members like the main (and I kinda appreciate if they're able to pull it off).

The fact that it starts with a disoriented Ryotaro is perfect, because the majority of this episode is perplexing and contextless. There’s a decent enough throughline for the Spider Imagin, where a guy wants his hospitalized little sister to see the stars and it all goes wrong (he made the wish in a nightmare!), but nearly every linking scene feels like the exposition has been edited out. Multiple Yuutos and Denebs appear, Momo and Kin are acting incredibly weird, and most dialogue could be replaced with This Will All Make Sense Later. It’s an episode that’s the setup for a joke, with the punchline still to come.

Never expected you to be excited about a time travel-y premise here, where multiple Yuutos and Denebs would be very time travel to gather them from various timelines into 1 place. Time travel stories, if done not carefully, it can produce several plot holes and some questions, like before where you wouldn't talk much about it in place of the character journey like the victim's states and lessons, not to mention the worldbuilding by Kobayashi with show not tell.

Ryotaro not being great? He's developing, like y'know in the ep. 15-16 2 parter Ryotaro singlehandedly solves the Imagin mystery there, albeit centered for IOTW one rather than something more major here. Also, I was laughing my ass off and I was looking forward upon Yuuto's agitation when Deneb possesses him and using him to act friendly to anyone around him like when he promotes Milk Dipper to others. Also man, don't you blame Ryotaro as thinking why Yuuto doesn't want Ryotaro as a friend, Ryotaro gets time-abducted by another Deneb and it wasn't his fault. And well, misunderstanding will ensue here.

Also never expected this, but you taking an interest for people taking a part in helping out at a restaurant (Rider "headquarters"), even if they're a major cast member. These things iirc was usually treated as an aftertought before, or at worst, disdain, especially for Milk Dipper being a place that gets snark here due to it being seemingly pointless meeting place as DenLiner's there and it being centered regarding... Airimirers.

Airi agrees to bring Ozaki to the hospital after he's injured (and even minor one), that kinda left an impression to me about her, probably due to how she would go that far for being helpful, and also like you said, the Airimirers are simping in disgusting ways, but Airi is being considerate to males like that.

Yeah, this is a purity for Deneb's part where he would just blame himself if he's not able to please others, and being exaggerated too here for just a simple candy. But dunno about which part that you refer as being pathetic, I hope that it would be the exaggeration, I don't want the part of putting others above yourself (Deneb blaming himself) to be seen as pathetic, and glorify about the opposite of being toxic and selfish as not caring about anyone else except yourself (because of it being strong, assertive, dominant, interesting, etc.).
