Yeah, I watched this episode on a whim before I watched the rest of the show (I had seen all the movies at least once, even the main one). Even then, it did nothing for me.

In addition to the Yaguruma Imagin returning from the movie, we’ve got his partner, who has the fairly dubious distinction of having been in all but three performed continuities of Transformers (the exceptions being G1, Bayformers and Cyberverse)
