Sure, but this mostly (and surprisingly!) ended up being a story about how Momo felt about the other Imagins, so any unnecessary or superfluous Hana/Ryotaro scenes are... it's maybe a misdirection? I think it's the story getting you to overlook Momo's reactions (which are very minor) so that the climax has more impact.

For Hana liking Deneb... he hands out Deneb candy! That buys a lot of goodwill!
