Good to know I'm not alone in really digging Kohana! I don't really want to knock Shiratori, because she did a great job too, and the circumstances of her leaving the show are super unfortunate, but I absolutely find Hana's shtick way funnier coming from a child, and to this day, I'm really impressed by how smoothly the staff managed to work the change into the story in such a positive way.

maybe it goes to show how much of these characters is in Kobayashi's scripting, but it's actually weirder how much of an adjustment it ISN'T. I honestly buy that this is still the same person, even though it literally isn't, and that's pretty impressive.
