I would agree, which I guess is where Injustice works, in that it easily recasts most of the heroes as either straight up villains or more morally ambiguous. I'm not usually a big fan of stories that do this, but I think the difference between, say, Ichigo and Niigo's approach and Superman's could be used to greater effect in such a setting—it makes it easier to justify the former's straight-up-kick-a-villain-until-he explodes approach in a world where Superman's morality has ready become questionable.

Having said all this, I'd personally love to see a story with Silver Age Superman and Stronger.
