I was exaggerating for comedic effect when I said 75%, but Aruto definitely screamed… a lot… and loudly… and so did Es. Too much for my taste.
I do actually agree that this is one of the better Summer Movies that I’ve seen, but like I said, I tend to avoid them. Because even though the action is usual plentiful and excellent, they tend to have terrible pacing. At best, they feel like tacked on fun (as it is here); at worst, they retroactively sabotage the show itself.
I didn’t dislike watching this movie. I don’t regret it. The action was so great. But it was, overall, a pretty hollow and uninspiring experience… for me.
