this is literally the entire situation in a nutshell. I have no idea why so many people are overreacting. guess some are just that stupid.

I've personally never seen any purpose in following a sub group's website to begin with - you will always be able to figure out whether or not an episode has been subbed via twitter, reddit, or even this website. toei genuinely cannot stop anyone from pirating media via nyaa(people have been watching anime this way for god knows how fucking long) and all it takes is for someone to tell you, even indirectly, that the newest episode has been subbed and uploaded.

even if not for that, you would have ended up torrenting the episode from nyaa anyways, so why the fuck does it matter? full-length episodes in 1080p are too big to be available as direct downloads, so you will always end up having to torrent them, anyways.

it seriously feels like people are just using this as a catalyst to cry about kamen rider's popularity outside of japan - when in actuality, it literally has nothing to do with that.
