Here are some really scrambled thoughts.

So despite this episode being a lot happening at once, I really enjoyed it. The whole thing with Touma saving Luna through his will was a great bit, though it did look a bit silly when Touma was green screened onto the environment (I.E the back shots). I like that despite people showing up for Ren he’s still hanging out with Desast, and the two will probably get up to some stuff soon. I’m half expecting Bacht to come back in someway, I’m not sure how though, his ending didn’t feel quite like closure though. Like I could see him showing up as a ghost to talk to our heroes about how much they suck and how they’re doomed to violence.

I’m kind of peeved that Daishinji hasn’t got to do much lately. Ogami has been their to support the younger swordsmen. It just feels weird that Daishinji hasn’t got to do much. His actor has done a really good job showing him as frustrated that he can’t fight, using subtle movements and expressions even with his limited dialog. I really like Daishinji so I hope we get more of him in the future.

It feels really weird to me that Kento’s work was all for not, and I don’t quite understand the mechanics of how the swords got unsealed. Was it the power of the books? Kento has been real good lately though I feel like the story is dragging its feet a bit to getting him back on the team. I’m hoping he joins up soon. Part of me is low key expecting the story to go on a bit before Touma gets his final form and it might insert a power up for Kento in there somehow.

What was that watch like thing Ryoga was holding when he was talking to Master Logos about Bacht?

Any hopes you all have for last minute upgrades and retools?

Edit: going off what fish said above, Kento take a nap challenge. My friend and I were theorizing that he’s probably covered in eye make up to look that exhausted, that or the crew is breaking into his house to wake him up every hour.
