This is also probably the reason why the Haouken Xross Saber doesn't appear to have powers based on the Mumeiken Kyomu. Clearly Desast interfered.

Now the real question is if Desast remains a wild card, form a temporary alliance with the swordsman because chaos, ally himself with Storius, or become the surprise final boss? And did he steal the power, or did Bahato give up his powers?

Off topic, I find it funny how two former rangers are villains in a kamen rider. One was the cool brainy firefighter and the other a mediocre sushi chef with a knack for digitizing the mystic arts via feature phone.
