This episode reminded me of Crayon Shin-chan: The Storm Called: The Adult Empire Strikes Back

If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it- one of the best animated films of all time. It released in 2001 and essentially teased adults about the toxic allure of nostalgia. 20 years later and it is still incredibly relevant.

No spoilers or anything, but just like this episode of Zenkaiger, the reality is that nostalgia is just an illusion, one which benefits from the way it cannot ever be reclaimed. Live in the moment!
